Designer Sebastiaan Kramer was young when he started his training at the institute for art and design, things he then perceived as innocent later turned out to be a big part of his inspiration. Because he could observe his contemporaries from a distance and see what they passed through, he was able to make a clear and abstract evaluation of the people that surrounded him. This developed into a fascination for the adolescent and their manners. As a logical result of his background this originated into Sebastic, a menswear label that can be subscribed as naïve, young and positively anarchistic, with a tongue-in-cheek sensibility. His imaginative muse stays true to his innocence and harmony from his early years and so keeps fresh and naïve in dealing with daily reality. |
