Both Eva Van Overbeeke as Delia Drel studied at the Academy of Art in Utrecht, where they graduated in 2003. After that, both girls attended the 1-year master course at the Fashion Institute of Arnhem. After gaining separated experiences in the world of fashion, they decided to combine forces in November 2006. They showed their first collection in January 2007, during the Amsterdam International Fashion Week. Since then they do this every half-year. The name of the label is EnD is a logical junction of Eva n Delia. Because of the different characters of the designers an interesting mix of two styles arises: street & chic. The collections from EnD are characterized by contradictions: over- but also under-dressed, tuff but yet sexy, street wear but also high fashion, exceptional but wearable, simple but not easy. These contradictions give extra tension and dept; this is shown characteristic clothing with colorful self-made prints comfortable seduction and aim for detail. Central for every collection is a confident young woman; dressed for every occasion that life offers her. Important for them is that they are in contact with the development of the society, but at the same time the creations have their own background and message. Every collection has an eye catcher, this creation is the center of the collection and is the embodiment of the designers thoughts, ideas, feelings and fantasies for the upcoming season. The believe that no art form is consisting and a concept is continues moving thing, is the reason they are always looking for innovation and renewal, new techniques and workmanship methods to give the designs new perspectives. |
